The Prosecuting Attorney prosecutes all misdemeanor offenses brought forward via the Kelso Police Department.
The City Attorney's office provides legal advice and support to the City Manager, City Council and all city departments on various matters for the city of Kelso, including reviewing and drafting contracts, ordinances and resolutions, and researching legal questions.
The City of Kelso contracts with Cowlitz County District Court for municipal court services.
